Joint sculpture and fine art exhibition opened in Erbil
02/07/2012 09:52ERBIL, July 2 (AKnews) – A joint sculpture and fine art exhibition for 73 teachers opened in Shanadar Gallery in Erbil.
Director
Hoshiar Wahid Marjan said: "The work consisted of handmade paintings
and statues which were made by the participants. All of them had
experience in their work."
Hadi Ismael, one of the
participants, said” "I participated with two paintings. One of them is
the picture of Kurdish artist Ahmed Salar and other one is of the
theatrical actor Rezan Faraj."
Nazadar Danial, one of
the female participants, said "My work looks at women in our community
from their birthday to the last minute of their life where they face
difficulties."
The exhibition was organized by the general directorate of Erbil’s school activities.
