ERBIL, July 28 (AKnews)- On Monday the first issue of an electronic newspaper, devoted to Kurdish women and their affairs, will be issued, according to a statement.
The statement by the managing board of the newspaper, FeminKurd, said the net is the first Kurdish newspaper, prepared by women activists who are against patriarchy.
It said the newspaper works to eliminate gender inequality and invite women to a life where they can take the main role in a scenario designed by them.
The statement read "we have no red line and our purple line is the interest of our gender…
"Kurdistan is more pleasant with the voice of women and life with the face of women."
The newspaper is based in Diyarbakir, Turkey, and will be publishing in both Kurmanji dialect of Kurdish and Turkish language.
Apart from airing different news on women in general and Kurdish women in particular, www.feminkurd.net will also broadcast laws, debates, and footage related to women and offer a digital archive for the works of the Kurdish women.
