Culture -> Egyptian Opera House holds concert for artist Ilham al-Madfaei

CAIRO, July 30 (AKnews) - The Iraqi Embassy in Cairo held a concert for Iraqi artist Ilham al-Madfaei, who presented a group of distinctive traditional songs in the presence of a large gathering of the sons of the Iraqi community.
Madfaei told AKnews: "My presence in Cairo is very important to me, especially with the presence of a large Iraqi community here, and we hoped to meet many of them and present more than a concert for the Iraqis in Cairo."
Madfaei presented a group of songs including Allah Alek, Qasr al-Khwater, Foq al-Nakhel and other old and new Iraqi songs in which he expressed his love for Iraq and its heritage.
