Iraqi government delegation to visit Iran for economic ties

ERBIL, Aug. 9 (AKnews) – A senior Iraqi government delegation is expected to head to Iran next week to hold talks with the Iranian officials about the strengthening of bilateral trade and economic relations.

 

The Iraqi delegation will be headed by Rozh Nouri Shawais, Deputy Prime Minister, and will stay in the neighboring country for several days.

 

“Headed by Rozh Nouri Shawayis, the delegation will also include the Iraqi Trade Minister, the Finance Minister, and the Undersecretary of the Agriculture Ministry as well as a number of government officials and advisers” a source from the Iraqi Council of Minister told AKnews.

 

“The goal of the visit is to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations”
