Businessmen discuss opening students’ fund

Sulaimaniyah, Feb. 8 (AKnews) – Capitalists and education experts in Sulaimaniyah city’s Tawar Hall tackled Monday a fund to help the needy students, a source said.
Kurdistan Students Union’s (KSU) Sulaimaniyah branch organized a conference Monday which aimed at urging businessmen and company owners help the education sector in Kurdistan Region.
“We are trying to encourage capitalists to build charity schools and kindergartens in the various areas of Kurdistan which helps develop education in the region” Salman Mohammed, Sulaimaniyah KSU branch official told the Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan (AKnews)
Moreover, the opening of a fund to help needy students by the capitalists and businessmen of the region was also proposed and tackled by the conference members.
The conference will last 2 days and the recommendations will be submitted to the parliament of Kurdistan Region and the Ministry of Education, according to Mohammed.
