Armed group leader killed in Tikrik

Tikrit, March 10 (AKnews) The Iraqi police killed a leader of an armed group today during a raid on his house south of Tikrit, according to an official source.
"The Iraqi police killed, today, Emad Khudair, a leader of an armed group who is accused of crimes and killings, during a raid on his house in Tarabal area, south of Tikrit, after he was trying to fire on them."
Tikrit areas had seen on the election day, March 7 according to security sources, violent attacks where five mortar shells fell at Rifaei electoral center (40 km north of Tikrit), without causing casualties, and two explosive devices exploded and wounded three civilians.
Tikrit, the capital city of Salahaddin province is 175 km north of Baghdad.
