Two policemen killed, three others injured in Mosul

Nineveh, March.15 (AKnews)- Two policemen were killed and three others were injured in two separate accidents in Mosul, a security source said. A road side bomb exploded on Monday when a national police patrol was passing in Hadbaa area east of Mosul. It killed one of the patrol men and injured three others. Furthermore, an armed man threw a bomb on a check point that belongs to the national police in Khazrej area west of Mosul and killed one of the police men ". Mosul is witnessing daily acts of violence despite the implementation of many security plots that targeted al-Qaeda and wanted people by the security authorities as well as outlaws of which hundreds were arrested. Mosul, the capital of Nineveh is about 405 Km north of Baghdad. sa/ae AKnews
