ERBIL, Aug.11 (AKnews)- A ten-day public campaign for collecting donations and aid in kind for the Syrian Kurds will begin tomorrow in Erbil.
Bozan Mohammed, who chairs Syrian Kurds' Association, said the association has organized the campaign with the support of Erbil governorate and Barzani Charity Foundation as well as some governmental agencies.
Four camps in Sami Abdul-Rahman Park, Shandar Park, Majidi Mall and Family Mall will receive the donations and aid in kind and four fund boxes will be circulated in the mosques and churches for monetary donations.
The collected donations will be sent to the Syrian Kurds through other organizations.
Mohammed added the financial and psychological state of the Syrian Kurds, especially who have become refugees is "very terrible.
"They need help; therefore, I call on all the donors to support us to help them [Syrian Kurds."
