PM cannot stop Iraqi parliament session: official

Baghdad, Feb.8 (AKnews). The MP of Fadela party said on Monday that, Nouri Al-Maliki request to not hold a session today and delaying it is something that is out of his authorities.
 
The MP Sabah Saedy  ,The chairman of integrity committee of Fadella party , the Iraqi coalition bloc ,considered in a press conference which was held today at Baghdad conference palace , attended by the correspondent of the Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan (AKnews) that  " the request of the prime minister to delay the irregular session is out of his authorities " he noted that " there is a trend in the parliament council to collect signatures in order to held an emergency meeting to discuss the entitlement of the discrimination board ".
 
Saadi accused the presidency of the parliament as weak on its performance and involved with the government decisions to cancel the irregular meeting after sujecting the discriminatory board to government pressure ".

Saedi explained that "he doubts the work of the board because it will bargain on the Iraqi blood because it will involve Baathists in the elections ".

Saedi said "The MPs attended the meeting today to discuss the discriminatory work which postponed reviewing the appeals and reversed the decision after being subjected under some government parties ".   

Saedi demanded "the parliament council to withdraw confidence from the discriminatory board "noting that" their work is weak after being subjected to U.S vice president Joseph Biedin pressure as well as the government ".
