Sulaimaniyah, Mar. 14 (AKnews) – The Kurdistani Alliance Chief in the Iraq Parliament announced on Sunday that the Kurdish leaders are concluded with the Iraqi political entities and lists about the major points and there is not any deal to shape coalition with them.
“We have long going relations with the Iraqi political parties and they would like visit to Kurdistan Region for discussions and exchange opinions according to the milestone nation wide elections in Iraq,” Fuad Masoum reported.
The political secular shi’a Muslim and the head of al-Iraqyia list, Ayad Allawi had visited to Kurdistan Region for concluding the Regional President, Masoud Barzani after the powerful Shi’a party member of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC), Adil Abdel –Mahdi had paid a visit to the Region on Friday.
“The Kurdish leaders do not have decided to shape alliance with any of the political parties that had visited to Kurdistan Region a few days ago,” Masoum said.
According to the main issues in such meetings, he added “the local leaders had shed a light together with the Iraqi political parties on the general issues and the final conclusion of the elections.”
The Kurdistani Alliance would be pleased to shape alliance with the Iraqi political parties, if they will take into accounts the Kurdistani lists terms and programs to finalize the dossier of perennial trouble areas and article 140 from the national constitution as well as basing on power sharing in the potential government shape in Iraq.
In his part, the member of Iraqi MP on Kurdistani Alliance, Mahmoud Othman stated that “both Iraqi Sunni and Shi’a political parties have taken into consideration the Kurdish crucial political role in the next government shape of Iraq.”
The Kurdish Political Parties will deeply concentrate on its terms and na ional welfares during shaping alliance with any political parties and/or lists in Iraq.
“We expect that the Kurdish Parties might make coalition together with Shi’a fronts rather the Sunni one in the upcoming government form of Iraq,” Othman said.
“The Head of al-Iraqiya list, Ayad Allwai, has expressed his refresh relations with the Kurdish political parties, but it seems shaping alliance will not easy with Kurdish entities due to existing some chauvinist figures in his list who might not be easy going to solve Kurdish tensions with the new government,” he noted.
Besides, Allawi has few chances to win Prime Minister Position, and thus he needs Kurdish alliance and support to gain it, but the main Shi’a list, Lawful State list, led by Nouri al-Maliki, the closing leadership as MP, might have more chance to win the MP position again in Iraq.
Iraq Vote had taken place on March 7-Sunday. 19 million people in 18 Iraqi provinces are entitled to elect 325 Iraqi parliament members, 82 of them would be women. One million and 900 thousand voters will cast ballots in 16 countries outside Iraq.
