Syrian and Kurdish councils to meet after Eid

ERBIL, August 18 (AKnews) – A leader of the leftist Kurdish
Democratic Party of Syria said after Ramadan Eid the meetings between
the Syrian Kurdish National Council and the Syrian National Council will
begin to discuss the current political crisis in the country.

Gado said: "Until now the time of beginning the meetings has not been
fixed but they will definitely begin after Ramadan Eid.
"Beside
talking about the current political crisis in Syria, we will discuss
the Kurds’ issues for after the collapse of Bashar Asad's regime and the
recognition of the Syrian National Council towards Kurds’ rights as a
nation."
Regarding civil war in the country, Dago stressed: "The civil war is a red line and we will never let that happen."
The meetings are expected to be held in Erbil.
Secretary
of the Syrian Kurdish National Democratic Party Tahir Sfook said that
so far both the Syrian National and Syrian Kurdish National councils are
together running the liberated cities such as Afrin, Derin, Kobana and
Amouda.
