Erbil, Feb. 8 (AKnews) – Champions Erbil are preparing to play Ramadi in the seventh round of the Iraqi Football Premier League on Tuesday.
Erbil are exerting efforts to maintain the title of the championship for the fourth straight year.
“Every match is important for us, our players are well prepared” deputy secretary of Erbil Football Club, Abdulkhaliq Massoud said.
The problem is all the teams play a defense strategy in the matches against us this year, which takes time to find the key to scoring goals, assistant coach Omar Majid said.
But Ramadi is “not that good we will try to win the match soon” Majid added.
Champions Erbil are lead their group collecting 18 points scoring 14 goals in 6 wins and no losses, in sharp contrast, Ramadi comes last but one with only one point.
