Sports -> Baghdad hosts national taekwondo championships mid June

BAGHDAD, June 8 (AKnews)- The national Martyrs Taekwondo Championships for beginners will kick off in June 15 in Baghdad.
The Iraqi Taekwondo Federation (ITF) has decided to organize the event for clubs across the Iraqi provinces, said ITF Chief Abdul-Jabbar Abud.
Abud said the federation has asked the coaches of the national team to follow up the combats and choose the promising combatants for the national team, depending on their performance and the results of the championships.
