Olympic team preparing for India match after Turkmenistan victory

BAGHDAD, June 24 (AKnews) – The Iraqi football team will face India in its second match at the 2013 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-22 Asian Championship that serves as a qualifier for the 2016 Olympics.
Iraq beat Turkmenistan on 4-0 in their first match in the group A on Saturday. The Iraqi team has gone on training as of Sunday afternoon in the Omani capital to prepare for the India encounter on Monday.
Other matches of the Group A include Oman-Lebanon and UAE-Turkmenistan in the second round of the qualifiers.
The top two teams from each group will qualify to the 2013 Asian Championship finals together with the best third-placed team. The 2015 edition of the biennial competition will serve as a qualifier for the 2016 Olympics.
