BAGHDAD, July 23 (AKnews) – Iraq’s Olympic delegation
will fly to London tomorrow as the 2012 London Olympics approach.
The Iraqi delegation is formed of 8 athletes, in
addition to sports officials, coaches and one journalist to cover the events.
The Iraqi athletes will participate in seven
events; archery, swimming, shooting, track and field, wrestling, boxing and weightlifting.
The 2012 London Olympics are set to begin on July
27 and will last until August 13.
