Sports -> Baghdad to host Arab Fencing Championship

ERBIL, July 24 (AKnews) – The Arab Union has agreed to let Baghdad host the Arab Fencing Championship at the end of the year.
Secretary
of the Iraqi Fencing Union Ziad Hassan said: "The acceptance of the
Arab Union to let Baghdad host the fencing championship suggests that
Iraq is capable of hosting championships of high levels."
Twelve countries have confirmed their participation in the championship.
